D8 appointment in Berlin - do they want full tax returns?

Getting my D8 paperwork together for the Berlin consulate and the income section has me stuck. I'm employed full-time by a German company and would keep the same remote role from Lisbon - I have nine months of payslips, my contract and an employer letter confirming the salary continues. Did anyone else also hand in full tax returns, or were payslips and the letter enough at the appointment?
